This stoneware planter combines classic form with everyday practicality. The rope detail, borrowed from traditional English garden pots, adds a quiet touch of craftsmanship without being fussy.
Each piece is glazed in Iron Range Red — a layered finish that takes its name from Minnesota’s Iron Range. The effect comes from two glazes interacting in the kiln, creating subtle variations in color and texture that make every planter unique.
A drainage hole is built into the base, which rests on a matching drip tray (included, though not shown). The base itself has a strong, well-defined foot — a small detail that gives the piece a solid presence on any surface.
The planter is about 8” tall and 6” in diameter.

This stoneware mug is a tribute to northern Minnesota and the iron ranges that helped shape its history. The glaze — Iron-Range Red — is created by layering two finishes to produce a deep earth-toned surface with natural variation, subtle green breaks, and warm, rustic undertones. No two mugs ever fire quite the same, making each one unmistakably individual.
The silhouette of Minnesota is left unglazed, exposing the raw clay beneath. It creates a tactile contrast you can feel in your hand — a simple, honest nod to the place that inspired the piece. Comfortable to hold and balanced in weight, this mug is built for daily use, whether it’s morning coffee, evening tea, or anything in between.

This urn was first created to honor the artist’s mother — a vessel that tells a story of love, family, and release. At its base, two human figures stand together, symbolizing a lifelong partnership. From their arms, four forms rise — part human, part bird — representing their four children as they lift into the world, each finding their own direction. Around the back, seven smaller birds complete the circle, standing for their grandchildren and the generations carried forward.
Handcrafted from stoneware and finished in a matte white glaze, Homeward Flight has a calm, enduring presence. The unglazed clay at the rim and base gives it warmth and balance — a quiet reminder of earth and belonging beneath the grace of flight.
Each urn is made to order, shaped and carved by hand. Please allow 4–6 weeks for completion.
